Brazilians have mixed cultures. They have a mixed culture like Native Americans, Portuguese, Africans, and maybe some Americans. Brazilians have different religions like Spiritualism and Buddhism . One of their major sports is soccer,which in Brazil is called football.
You might have heard of soccer. They call it football in Brazil. In America it’s called soccer. The famous football player in Brazil is Pele. At the age of 16 he won the world cup. He was a young football player and very good at it too.
Another sport that is famous in Brazil is Capoeira. The sport is played with two people. The black Brazilian slaves were not allowed to fight. So they used a traditional African martial arts to protect themselves. At first look people thought they were dancing, but they were wrong because they were praticing their fighting. Capoeira was a hand-to-hand combat. Afro-Brazilians is the term used to address Black Brazilians. Just as in America, Black people are addressed as African-Americans.
